A quick history…

Over the last 15 years I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many special occasions.  From amazing events such as FA Cup Finals, Nigel Mansell’s return to British Touring Cars and Michael Owens debut for England all the way to capturing the performances of musicians such as Ian Brown, David Gray and Damien Rice. These major events have taught me a lot about capturing a story in almost any situation. I’ve been able to do this based from my home town of Nottingham.

All of this has led me to discover where my heart lies and that is photographing people. Real people. Just like me and you.

There is a special place reserved just for wedding photography. There is something about photographing a wedding that I just can’t describe. From a pure photography point of view it is a one shot, no second chances event of a life time where you have to photograph all the high points of the day, without missing any, and also make photos that capture the emotion of the day as well. You have to find the story and tell it in pictures. Photogaphing weddings is  a challenge. A challenge that I honestly and truthfully really enjoy.

For me, people and wedding photography is where it is at. No questions. I really hope you can see that in my work.
